Screw pitch and lead distance?

Hi, I am designing a linear drive for the cutting of plastic sheets. The actuator travel length 1.5 meters. The company employs a very thin knife blade and it cuts micrometer thin film so very, very low load is applied in practice. I am leaving the leadership Screw (which has low pitcht) with a 24V DC motor with direct couplin between ball bearings. It is very very slow, it takes 4 secs to complete one side trip. Can someone I could offer a pitch, the maximum seed of travel. The motor is a motor 3900rpm.

Dont Give you many details about the screw, but the less is the pitch (fewer threads per inch or centimeter), the faster it go. They are limited to 2 or 3 pitch in standard sizes off the shelf screws, but any pitch can be made by a machinist. You can even double triple or quadruple lead screws, which are still very much faster. I suppose you threaded rod for the screw if you increase the diameter to be avalible to be coarser pitches.
