How do you change a high pressure switch on my air conditioner Gm Chevrolet K 1500. (1995 v-8 5.0)?
The air conditioning compressor clutch takes up initional Engine begin, but dissolved after 30 seconds .— There are signs of oil sepage on the high pressure switch on the evap. can. Even if I try to re-energize, the deposit indicates high pressure and the system tends to bear the load.
This is not the high pressure switch cut out, change your cycleing thats if its near of evap. Not all vehicles have to change a HPCO and when to do so, then either on the back of the compressor or on the high side manifold / pipe. Change Change one cycleing is easy … provided that there is no leak in the Shrader valve behind the counter. just to be sure, evacuation of the system. then just take a wrench (GM usually use 16mm) and thread it out. then to consider whether it Shrader, which is leaking. Pressure test the system on without the switch, if it still leaks, dont worry about the switch just replace the Shrader. if it doesn't leak … to change a new one. simply not true?
