Where can I find a low cost, but descent multimeter?

Im 15 and I'm in the electronics and solar setups, but my multimeter was on me. I had received from Sears that I am the product for $ 25 and it was great, but then I tested the voltage in a piezoelectric sparker in a BBQ and the next day it went into me. I checked the fuse and it was not blown, so I do not know now! In the beginning, get real pissed off, because that is the most important tool for someone who is on Electronics. Do you think I should go to go to testers, that up to 20 amps can insted or should I not even fcuk with the measurement of electricity in batteries and in only one ammeter ) (amp readers. Really invest in, and I want to say to an electrical or electronics engineer in the near future, so please do not I give it up and do something. I would like just some advice on what not with a voltmeter. Test (all ive been tested a 220v black light, some shops, the BBQ lighter and some 12v 10ah batteries)

Or hell they buy $ 15 for both. As for what not to test …. Everything, what goes on the assessment can bypass the counter:) One tip, if there is a spark gap, the voltage is too high:)
